Joelee is an open-minded, approachable, authentic, and strong willed individual… all this in a few words “A Strong Black Woman”. The word “Supa” that’s the highest precedent there is, “Model” I don’t have the say much… just look at me… lol, and “Joelee” is biological, which means “The Lord is God”.
Joelee’s image is sexy, classy, simple, and model type with a dancehall edge. My image perfectly describes my slang “SOO SEXY”, along with the thought provoking topics my songs deliver. I am a Deejay, a Singer, a Model, an Entertainer and a Performer.
I started modeling professionally in 2001. I modeled for Pulse and Saint International, two of Jamaica’s premier modeling agencies, and I am currently with Ikon Model NY. I have done Reality TV Shows, Music Videos, Media Spread, Photo Shoots, Promotions, as well as I have graced hundreds of runways. I have worked with the likes of BMW, Budweiser, DACF, NY Jets, Designer Simon Duncan, Designer Hemma, Designer White Skys and Cooyah Designs just to name a few.
I love modeling… that’s my passion, but my love for music was ever present. In 2002, I officially started writing songs. Over the next several years I entered music competitions in Jamaica such as Tastee’s Talent Trail and Rising Star. Then in 2008, I was introduced to DAGCK Promotions, who is now my management. DAGCK saw my potential as an Artist, and that is when Joelee was conceived.
In 2010, I released my first single “FRET”, a very thought provoking song, as well as the blazing hot single “ME NUH SMILE” on the Thousand US$ Rhythm. Both songs, produced by DAGCK, were well received and help launched my musical career. In 2011, I recorded “WEH YOU AGO DO” a song dedicated to my female fans who have always supported and inspired me throughout my musical journey.
In March 2012, I released “SOO SEXY” a very hot and seductive songs, for especially my male fans. “SOO SEXY” has been well received by the Urban and Rhythmic music listeners, and is currently being played on several commercial, internet, and college radio stations in Huntsville AL, New York City, Pennsylvania, Fayetteville NC, Chicago IL, Rocky Mount NC, Buffalo NY, Augusta GA, Missouri, Hartford CT, and Boston MA.
I am currently working on several new songs to be released this summer.
